Thursday, October 29th
🐓Noon-whenever - Early arrival for campers
Come early and get settled in for the weekend. Our philosophy is, the more time we get to spend with our friends and family, the better!
Friday, October 30th
🐓All Day!
Whether you’re camping on the property or staying in town you’re welcome to come by at any point during the day to settle in, help with final set-up details and decorations, check out our digs, and give us hugs.
🐓1:30-3 - Ceremony Rehearsal (wedding party only)
🐓5 - 7:30 - BBQ, Games, and Mask Decorating
Join us for meat and veg BBQ, some good ‘ole fashioned wedding games, and mask decorating in preparation for the black light dance party on Saturday.
🐓7:30 - 9 - Talent Show
Squawking, cawing, crowing, screeching, mating dances, shaking of tail feathers, and other non-bird related talents will be showcased as our creative, expressive, and down right impressive friends and family take the stage.
🎃 Saturday, October 31st 🎃
🐓9 - 11 - Yogurt & Granola Parfait Bar
Homemade granola, greek yogurt, fruit, coffee, milk, and oat milk will be available for campers and people who arrive early to help with set-up and decor.
🐓10 - 1- County Fair Style Tablescaping Contest Prep
For those of you who signed up to compete in the tablescaping contest, this will be your opportunity to decorate your assigned table. Bring it hard and receive a feather in your cap!
🐓1:30 - Hike up to the ridgeline
Our ceremony will be at the top of a beautiful ridgeline on the property directly adjacent to Bragdor Hollow. Getting there involves a 1-mile long, uphill hike from our house. The road is paved until the last quarter mile where it changes to dirt and gravel, and the grade is fairly steep in certain places. If you don’t plan on arriving until the ceremony, please give yourself enough time to navigate to the Hollow, park your car (refer to the survival guide for more info), and make it to the top by 2:30pm at the latest.
*If you have mobility issues and didn’t request assistance in your RSVP, please reach out so we can include you in our accommodation plans.
🐓2:30 - 3 - Ceremony
Our beloved friend, Peter Reynolds, is going to say some really nice things about us. We are probably both going to cry. Bird calls in lieu of clapping or woo-ing is encouraged.
🐓3 - Hike down from the ridge
Same thing, only backwards this time. Take your time and watch your step.
🐓4 - 5:30 - Flappy Hour and Tablescape Contest Voting
Feeling peckish? Enjoy some appetizers and beverages as you peruse the tablescapes that have been created by real live artists in our community. Choose your favorite and cast your vote! Winner receives a prize. This is also a good time for a costume change if you brought black light reactive clothes with you for the dance party.
🐓5:30 - 7:30 - Feeding Time
Find your seat and get ready to feed! We’ll have a buffet of delicious food for you to peck at.
🐓6 - 6:30 - Speeches/Toasts
Bird songs from friends and family.
🐓8 - 10 - Music and Dancing
Flap your wings and shake your tail feathers to the sounds coming from our tweeters and woofers.
🐓10-2am - Silent Disco
We’ll transition from speakers to headphones so we can rock out late into the night with some of our favorite DJs. The final DJ lineup will be announced as we get closer to the big day.
Sunday, November 1st
🐓10 - 1 - Bagel Brunch & Bye-Bye Birdies
Join us for bagels, cream cheese, and coffee before returning to your nest. If you’d like to stay and help with cleanup we would gladly accept your assistance. If you’re camping and just can’t say goodbye yet, please feel free to stay through Monday.
